Betty Ogaye is the founder of Threshing Floor Prayer Ministries. God has called her to help equip, empower and establish the community through effective prayer that yields results, intercession and reading the word of God. Betty is an accountant by profession but her passion is in ministry, serving the Lord and making an impact in the body of Christ. She has seen God change lives through the power of prayer over the years to the glory of God. It has been my her dream to help people who cannot help themselves due to circumstances beyond their control like low self-esteem, drug addiction, discouraged, abused and homeless. Her desire is to see the lives of these people restored, stepping into their God given purpose, equipped and ready to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Serving the Lord with humility is indeed an honor for she has seen Him transform lives in miraculous ways.
Betty is devoted to seeing the body of Christ come together in one accord by the message of Christ Jesus through prayer, worship, and sound Biblical truth and continual empowering partnership with individuals and churches to pray effectively for revival and transformation of communities, cities and nations. Prayer is the master key to breakthrough.
God has also given her a passion for the less privileged who are homeless, abused, drug addicts, children and youth. She reaches out to them by feeding and clothing, sharing the message of Jesus Christ and leading them to salvation. Her vision is to start a training center to educate the homeless, enable them to integrate into society and acquire the skills they need to get into the job-market and lead a normal life. For those with drug addiction, she is committed to seeing them rehabilitated and freed from their condition and be able to have a good quality of life.
