Our founder, Betty Ogaye's efforts to equip, empower and establish the community by effective prayer and communal participation has not gone unnoticed.
Different institutions have seen the fruits borne by her efforts, and have awarded her different awards towards recognizing her and her efforts for a better community.
The Texas Association of Broadcasters nominated Pastor Betty for the 2019 Bonner McLane Public Service Award, for the outstanding service she has had to the local community. Through TFPM, Pastor Betty and volunteers helped remodel a house for a single mother that needed a lot of work to be done. They painted the house, cleaned the house inside and outside and got it ready for the mother and her children to move in. They also bought her a new refrigerator as the one in the house was not working.
Queens Night Ministry International whose mission is to rebuild and reconnect a woman through holistic empowerment to their kingdom mandate honored Pastor Betty of TFPM by giving her an award for the work she does in the City of Dallas with the Homeless at Austin Shelter and in McKinney Texas by feeding and clothing the homeless through the annual clothes drive they hold.
Pastor Betty was honored to have been nominated by The Association of Latin Americans on April 23, 2020, for her leadership in recognition of the exemplary work she has done her community. As a woman who has made an impact in the community, Pastor Betty received a Certificate for Outstanding Achievement. TFPM through the leadership of Pastor Betty, has provided meals to the community, back to school supplies to children whose parents could not afford to do so, and helped single mothers pay their bills when they could not.
TFPM has impacted the lives of many people both in the local community and in the City of Dallas where Pastor Betty feeds the homeless. Through TFPM, many people’s quality of lives have been improved through the genuine love they receive, prayers and words of encouragement, spiritual and physical food, clothes drives, toiletries, provision of Christmas gifts and back to school supplies. For what TFPM has done and continues to do, it was a great honor for Pastor Betty to be nominated for The Golden Rule International Award in March of 2017. This highly esteemed award was given for a strong heart and compassion towards those in need.
